Problem
Craigslist is a staple online marketplace, helping to push the genre forward. However, it has been criticized for its outdated design and apparent lack of moderation.
Hypothesis
If Craigslist were to invest in a modern design akin to popular sites such as Facebook Marketplace, it could attract a new generation of users and bounce back into relevancy.
Solution
I designed and prototyped a hypothetical design solution to many of Craigslist’s current flaws, hoping this injection of modernity could revive the website. With streamlined moderation tools, more users would be attracted to the website. The moderators themselves would have an easier time skimming posts due to improved legibility and uniformity across the platform
